Jammu, Nov 13:  Avny Lavasa, Commissioner, JMC said that following rise in cases of dengue, Jammu Municipal Corporation will be intensifying the fogging in coming days to eradicate the breeding of mosquitoes responsible for spreading of the disease.

She further added that directions have been issued to the health wing of JMC to put in place the sufficient number of men and machinery so that any area may not remain uncovered in respect of fogging.

She further appealed to peoples of Jammu city to avoid accumulation of water in their homes by emptying water coolers, pots and any stored water and keep their surroundings neat and clean.

The drives shall be carried out under overall supervision of Dr Sanjogita Soodan, Health Officer, JMC.
